6. Clay Candle Holders
Simple clay candle holders add charm to your home.
Materials Needed: Air dry clay, rolling pin, small bowl or glass for shaping, knife, sandpaper, paint (optional).
Preparation and Steps:
- Knead and roll clay to 1 cm thickness.
- Wrap around a small glass or bowl to form a cylinder.
- Press and smooth edges.
- Let dry completely for 24-48 hours.
- Sand rough edges.
- Paint or decorate if desired.
- Place a small candle inside.
Tips: Ensure the holder is stable and wide enough to avoid tipping. Do not use with large candles that produce high heat.
